Chapter 8 A SAVIOUR
he was a successful cricketer, an inspiration for the youth, yet that day he felt so helpless and hopeless.
His cancer stricken mother was lying lifelessly in the hospital bed, he got told that the hospital was not
able to further treat his mother and there is no advance technology in the whole country which could
treat this stage of cancer. He was heartbroken. That day he decided that he may have lost his own
mother, the most precious person in his life, but he wil make sure that he wont let this happen to any
other mother or loved one of anyone. He stood up and made a change. Now operating three cancer
hospitals treating all kinds of cancer and free of any cost for the poor people. Shaukat Khanum is one
of the largest successful charity organization in pakistan saving thousands of cancer patients every year.
