As our mind
stays longer in the negatives we need to work and work hard to get to the
positive instead of getting stuck in the negative and this requires effort. You
can practice this and train your mind to do better. There’ s research out at UC
Davis showing that writing for a few minutes each day about things that you’re
blessed with can boost your happiness, well-being and even your health.
Changing your ways and adding these simple activities in your daily routine will do wonders on your mind, health and basically the way you feel about yourself. I, myself am a late riser and hate waking up early and akin to sleep late. For those individuals who sleep late and have trouble getting up early- don’t fret or ridicule yourself or let others insult you of course except your parents, husband/wife, boss, colleagues and other close relatives who depend upon you as people who sleep late are known to be more intelligent and have creative minds.
So, basically you are awesome or else if you want to appreciate yourself further more you are “COOL”. Still not satisfied and desire to feel fabulous? Become an early riser as waking up at 5am in the morning and exercising will certainly keep you motivated throughout the day.
Have control over your destiny, write it yourself instead of
sitting behind and letting the chips fall where they may. Importantly stop over
thinking since it is the biggest thing that drives you towards negative
thoughts. Abstain yourself from haunting thoughts of guilt and instead do what
you believe is right. Thoughts like- if I did that things would have turned out
right or maybe I shouldn’t have done this at all or maybe I should have said
this instead of that- don’t deserve a room in your brain; this space should be
filled with, “Yeah I did this and it made my day pretty productive I should
definitely do this more often”.
Maybe it’s time to get out of that little shell of continuous
looping of repetitive thoughts and look around you where there is so much
waiting to be uncovered. Finding your passion and keeping yourself busy in the
one thing that will keep you motivated the entire day and you won’t have time
for spare thoughts.
